About DCGS DMO, Hanscom AFB, MA

The Distributed Common Ground/Surface System (DCGS) Multi-Service Execution Team (MET) is the guiding, collaborative, and decision body that coordinates acquisition and implementation of the DCGS Enterprise, on behalf of the DCGS Programs of Record (PoR) and other DCGS Integration Backbone (DIB)-users.

The mission of the MET is to orchestrate the acquisition and implementation of the DCGS enterprise at the enterprise level in support of the DCGS PoRs, in concert with the Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence Community (IC) and coalition (foreign) partners, in order to increase interoperability for joint and combined Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The DCGS MET Office (DMO) is the persistent, working-level organization established by the MET to carry out the daily tasks and activities required to accomplish the MET mission. The DMO is directly subordinate to the MET. Air Force hosts and supports the MET and the DMO.

The DMO develops and implements combined acquisition strategy, accomplishes in-depth technical reviews of all service capability requirements focusing on interoperability of the system across service boundaries as directed by the MET. To carry out its mission, the DMO maintains multiple development and test facilities: the DCGS Test Laboratory (DTL) at Hanscom AFB, MA and a mobile DCGS-Imagery (DCGS-I) Testbed, currently located at Nellis AFB, NV. These facilities support software development and test and Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E)/DCGS Enterprise evaluation and test events and exercises.
