ActioNet collected new and gently used men’s, women’s, children’s and infant’s coats and clothing starting in November 2021 through April 2022. As most people are still take things slow and spending a lot of time at home during the coronavirus, our clothing drive initiative was a perfect time for cleaning out the closets.
After collecting approximately 400 pieces, we were told that pick-up at business locations was no longer an available option. Not to be deterred, the boxes of clothing was packed in my vehicle, and transported to the nearest Red Cross donation center sponsored by GreenDrop charitable donations. The American Red Cross is proud to partner with GreenDrop, which specializes in raising funds through the collection and sale of donated clothing and household items. GreenDrop converts donated items to money critically needed to help the American Red Cross fund its initiatives. When you give to the American Red Cross, you are delivering help and hope to people when they need it the most. I am proud to be a part of a company that continues to place its community outreach programs as a priority.
