As a recent awardee of the Military Health System Geographical Service Provider (MHS GSP) contract and long-time industry partner with the Defense Heath Agency (DHA), DecisiveInstincts traveled to the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA to exhibit at the 2023 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS). We proudly displayed beautiful Hawaiian flair with DecisiveInstincts, our Joint Venture with our Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO)-owned 8(a) protégé company, Akamai Intelligence.
The DHITS Conference is an annual conference, sponsored by the Defense Health Agency, that offers Department of Defense healthcare professionals an opportunity to lean-in to the MHS transformation to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The symposium provides a unique venue for knowledge sharing, innovative ideas, discussions of lessons learned, and the introduction of exciting new developments within the Military Health System.
At the three-day annual conference, Ashley C., Mel Y., Kim B., Kenny H., and Jose G. met with strategic government customers and industry partners to present our capabilities and promote our recent MHS GSP award. Our team was able to participate in sessions, workshops and exhibitions to stay at the forefront of healthcare technology trends and share our expertise. This enabled us to build relationships, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations with DecisiveInstincts.
While in New Orleans, we certainly enjoyed the southern hospitality and the unique French Quarter architecture. We indulged on New Orleans Cajun and Creole cuisines with jazz music that defines the city’s atmosphere. We also celebrated work anniversaries for Kim B. and Kenny H. for their 10+ years at ActioNet! Laissez les bons temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!)
