ActioNet, Inc. has been awarded the Integrated Infrastructure Services task order (IISC) last week by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the NOAALink contract to align service desk resources with NOAA’s business priorities using a Shared Services strategy. This will expand efficiencies gained through a comprehensive analysis, enterprise process standardization (ITIL/ITSM) and a full transformation of IT service delivery to include a customer oriented approach. Together with ActioNet’s support of the National Service Desk (NSDesk), IISC is a key component in the OCIO’s portfolio for providing enterprise-class IT Service Management across NOAA. The IISC will provide consolidated Tier 2 & Tier 3 IT support services to the NOAA OCIO and Staff Offices, as well as support elements in the OAR, OMAO, NESDIS, and NWS Line Offices.
