ActioNet, Inc. today announced that the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has chosen ActioNet to become the next IT Support and Application development, contractor. The five-year full and open award will provide transition and continued operational support services to include ITIL based technology infrastructure support, CMMI Level 3 application development and support, systems integration and Enterprise Architecture and business transformation services.

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is the federal agency responsible for the maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the United States Capitol Complex.  This includes more than 17.4 million square feet of buildings and more than 450 acres of land encompassing the U.S. Capitol, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Supreme Court and Library of Congress buildings to name a few. The Architect’s Office is also responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the Capitol Grounds, and the arrangement of inaugural ceremonies and other ceremonies to include the Presidential Inauguration.  The AOC is a legislative branch agency and reports to the US Congress.
