ActioNet’s Remedy Practice Team was recently recognized in front of approximately 500 attendees at the World Wide Remedy User Group 2012 conference in San Jose. ActioNet received BMC Software’s Customer Connect Champion Award for their significant contribution to the program and knowledge of the BMC Remedy ITSM solution.
The BMC Customer Connect Program is an exclusive global customer reference program implemented by BMC Software, Inc. that develops, nurtures, and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with BMC customers and its partners. Participants (i.e. the ActioNet Remedy Practice) are industry leaders that recognize Business Service Management (BSM) as the future of IT. BMC actively promotes customer successes, helping organizations recognize and publicize the heroes in their IT organizations. Customers or Partners act as references for sales, analyst and press activities.
ActioNet’s Remedy Practice provides a unified people, process and technology solution to the Federal Sector IT enterprise. Our industry leading services include working with our customers as their “trusted advisor” in implementing sound IT service strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement methodologies. The Remedy Practice utilizes ITIL, ISO 20000, and HDI processes and integrating those processes and operations onto the BMC Software Remedy ITSM and Atrium solution platform both on-premise and in the cloud.
WWRUG represents interests of ARSlist™ subscribers, members, and BMC customers focused on the implementation and utilization of Remedy Action Request System and related BMC Software, Inc. Remedy ITSM and Atrium products for enterprise IT management. Presentations were delivered by a combination of independent developers, BMC staff, partners and customers and culminated into an invaluable week of user-driven content, business-driven events, and networking. Five ActioNet Remedy Practice team members (Eric Chasteen, Tony Worthington, Shyam Attavar, Narsinga Gade, Doug Blair) were among those who attended and volunteered to help facilitate the conference held during the week of October 15 – 19, 2012. Doug Blair was the WWRUG conference Master of Ceremonies.
The conference included daily keynote speakers from BMC Software IT architects and product managers highlighting BMC’s latest release of BMC Remedy ITSM v8, Service Request Management, Atrium CMDB, Mobility management, and ITIL best practices. Multiple IT integration consultants, managers, trainers and process experts presented on how-to tools, utilities, solutions and practices for implementation of design, configuration, testing, training, release and operations of the BMC Remedy ITSM suite. A technology trade show, meeting with BMC engineers, birds of feather sessions, awards sessions and networking filled the event throughout the week.
