ActioNet, Inc. announced today the award of a competitive three-year contract under its SeaPort-e Multiple Award Contract (MAC) IDIQ to provide Data Communications Engineering, Data Technical Engineering, and Data Management support services for the Data Management Branch of the Performance Assessment Department at the NSWC, Corona Division. Specifically, ActioNet will provide systems engineering, testing, deployment, certification, data management and operation support for shipboard and shore-based unclassified and classified systems.
About the NSWC, Corona Division
NSWC, Corona Division is a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) activity and is the Navy’s independent assessment agent. The mission of the NSWC, Corona Division is to “Serve war-fighters and program managers as the Navy’s independent performance assessment agent throughout systems’ lifecycles by gauging the Navy’s war-fighting capability of weapons and integrated combat systems, from unit to force level, through assessment of those systems’ performance, readiness, quality, supportability, and the adequacy of training.” The Data Management Branch at NSWC, Corona Division develops and provides data management support to multiple projects in the Performance Assessment Department including, but not limited to, projects for the Aegis Combat System (AEGIS) and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) performance analysis groups. The Data Management Branch has the task of providing systems engineering, testing, deployment, certification, data management and operation for shipboard and shore-based unclassified and classified systems.
