My First Year with ActioNet
November 3rd was my first year anniversary date with ActioNet. Since then, I’ve never questioned this move. What makes ActioNet a great place to work isn’t just the day to day activities, but the people. I truly believe I work for great people and great people work for me. All in all, ActioNet is a great company with great people.
Since retiring from active duty Air Force in 2012, relocating from the Pentagon to be back home in the Boston area and then a short tour with another company from 2012 to 2014, I’ve come to realize that ActioNet is everything I would want in an employer. As an example, this past year we’ve given out raises, awards, promotions and had various functions to include quarterly luncheons, monthly birthday cakes and a summer outing to Fenway Park to watch one of only a few Red Sox wins this season.
Furthermore, our staff has taken advantage and initiative of the various training benefits offered to include going through ITIL, PMP, VMware, Helpdesk HDI training and CISSP only to name a few. We plan on having our holiday social in December at the Cambridge Marriott again this year with many raffles and door prizes, hopefully hosted by one of our visiting esteemed leaders.
Here’s to many more years with ActioNet and its great people.
