At ActioNet, Inc. we look for ways in which we can locate, stay connected and bring in the best talent in the industry. As part of our hiring goals, we specifically seek avenues to tap into external resources such as local community hiring events. In doing so, we take pride in honoring our veterans and transitioning service members by matching them with career advancing opportunities to help ease their move into civilian life. As a military-friendly employer we well understand the struggles that military members face when departing from active duty. Among the other worries associated with transition are those related to the preparation of finding a suitable position, such as:
How do the skills that I acquired in the military translate into the civilian job market?
How do I go about creating a resume and ‘selling’ myself to a potential employer?
Realizing that the answers to these questions can be overwhelming thoughts to contemplate and experience for many service members, our Recruitment Team in partnership with our Program Managers annually attend military-sponsored career events. This year, one of such opportunities will be at USAG Camp Humphrey’s Morning Calm Center on August 5th, 2020. This event will be an opportunity for military members and their spouses to network with us. ActioNet, Inc. representatives will be onsite to speak directly about our service offering, our culture, current openings and conduct in-person interviews. We are excited to participate in this event and to share what ActioNet has to offer. We look forward to connecting with as many service members as possible, while giving them the chance to tell us about their ideal position. Our hope is we can pinpoint the right opportunity that will set them up for future success.
