ActioNeters volunteered during the month of February at the Washington, DC Food & Friends. Together eight ActioNeters packaged for delivery, specially designed meals to meet the unique nutritional needs of community members affected by HIV/AIDS, Cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.
SRBU and DPBU ActioNeters and their families were on hand to sort, prepare and package meals and groceries in the facility kitchen. On average, about 3,000 meals are provided to clients each day. It was a special time for the ActioNet Family to bond and do community service.
