As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts businesses and communities across the world, ActioNet has taken a number of steps to support our employees. We believe it is extremely important to do our part to support containment through preventative measures such as social distancing. Therefore, effective March 16th, ActioNet has implemented the following COVID-19 preparedness policies.
ActioNet COVID-19 Preparedness Policies
Telework Policy
ActioNet employees that can accomplish their daily tasks via telework may do so with the understanding that minimized shifts may be established to reduce exposure where applicable to support our ActioNeters. All telework is performed in accordance with the company’s Telework Policy.
Social Distancing Policy
For those employees the government has deemed essential, ActioNet has implemented a series of measures to ensure employee health and safety while continuing operations. These safety measures include physical distancing and strict sanitization procedures. Nothing is more important than our collective health at this time and social/physical distancing as the CDC has advised.
Travel Policies
All ActioNet corporate travel and events have been suspended until further notice. Meetings are done virtually via collaboration software when possible.
Exposure Tracking and Notification
The ActioNet Human Resources team is dedicated to keeping employees safe and healthy during this time of emergency. If the team learns of a situation in which an employee may have been exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual, HR is dedicated to immediately notifying affected employees and assisting with CDC-guided 14 day self-quarantine
Employee Awareness
ActioNet has set-up an internal COVID-19 site with information regarding company policies, healthcare and insurance updates, and COVID-19 related legislature to help employees navigate benefits and changes that may affect them. This site is frequently updated to ensure benefits, news, and policies are easily accessible to employees whenever they are needed.
