Recently, ActioNeters from the National Security Business Unit got together with some of our partners for an afternoon of fishing in Maryland’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay. April is the beginning of spring trophy season for large striped bass and is an exciting time to get out on the water and test your luck. We did our best at hedging our luck by trolling with over 20 lines and were rewarded with this 43 inch monster – which was enough to feed the whole boat.  But wow…it look a while to pull her in!
Trophy season in the Chesapeake signals the beginning of spring and the return of milder temperatures, fresh seafood, and the chance to spend time with friends out on the water. These are all things that sounded good to the NSBU team members and was truly an example of Work Hard Play hard (and eating healthy!).
We’re looking forward to the next event at the National Zoo in a few weeks and then another fishing trip shortly after that. Life at ActioNet is good!
