ActioNet collected new and gently used men’s, women’s, children’s and infant’s clothing starting in February 2020 through Friday, March 20, 2020. However due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, ActioNet was unable to arrange pick-up or drop off to a Red Cross donation center. We are happy to report that today, December 1, 2020 the 41 boxes containing approximately 600 pieces was successfully picked up by the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross (ARC) is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief and education in the United States. When you give to the American Red Cross, you are delivering help and hope to people when they need it the most. The American Red Cross has been the nation’s premier emergency response organization bringing shelter, food, clothing and comfort to those affected by disasters, large and small. ARC train communities in CPR, first aid and other skills that save lives and assist our neighbors abroad with critical disaster response, preparedness and disease prevention efforts. In 2018 ARC were there to respond to Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael and the California Wildfires. In 2017 ARC responded to Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Mexico Earthquakes, Hurricane Marla and the California Wildfires. ARC is able to do all this by the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
