ActioNet Awarded DOC OCIO IT Services & Enterprise Security Services Contract

ActioNet, Inc. has been awarded a task order by the Department of Commerce (DOC) to support the NESDIS OCIO Satellites (OCIO-S) Virtual Test Lab (VTL) IT Services program. This program provides the necessary resources to operate and maintain the VTL infrastructure as well as execute the orchestration of testing that supports NESDIS mission and administrative proof-of-concept efforts. ActioNet, Inc. has also been awarded the National Weather Service (NWS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Enterprise Security Services (ESS) program. This program is intended to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency by providing prompt, reliable and high quality annual assessments of all NWS High and Moderate systems in support of the NOAA Risk Management Framework. We are excited to extend our partnership with NOAA NESDIS providing new capability which will allow NESDIS to have internal enterprise capability to perform the secure testing of products, solution and technologies being proposed in support of the different mission across the Line Office.
We are also excited to further our relationship with NWS Information Assurance Branch (IAB) as we support annual assessments and provide general assistance, advice, and support to the Federal Lead Auditors (NWS ITSOs).
