ActioNet announced today that they have been awarded the Data and Database Administration contract to support the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Support will include: Data & Database Management & Computing Services; Database Administration (DBA); Corporate Database Policies and Standards; Development Database Management Services; Enterprise Database Management, Integration, and Transformation Services; Database Technology Investigation and Analysis; Data Administration (DA); DA Strategic Management Services; DA Infrastructure; Data Model Administration; Metadata Access Administration; Administer Metadata Repository; Data Management; Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL); Extended Support.
About the Contract
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has a number of new initiatives and technical challenges that includes the support of an infrastructure that is essential to the maintainability and accessibility of CMS’s data resources. The development of a comprehensive methodology, standards, procedures and software ensures the integrity of the Agency’s information base and its supporting information. Data and Database Administration is a major component of supporting the agency’s information systems and achieving its mission of ensuring effective, up-to-date health care coverage and to promote quality care for beneficiaries. This contract is a multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. Specific tasks and/or work to be performed, will be detailed in, and solicited by, individual task orders issued under this IDIQ contract.
