Mr. de Guzman:
- Serves as Vice President of Science and Research Business Unit for ActioNet
- Responsible for P&L and overall business/satellite office operation
- Provides management and leadership and oversees ActioNet programs with federal agencies including Department of Commerce, Department of Education, Department of the Treasury, and Securities and Exchange Commission
Mr. de Guzman received his Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Loyola College. He graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He started his over 20 year career within the Healthcare industry in the field of Decision Support sciences. He started his career with Good Samaritan Hospital, eventually merging with MedStar Health, Maryland’s largest health system and one of the region’s largest employers. He moved to IT consulting in 1997 when he joined KPMG. For the next 11 years, his work at KPMG and BearingPoint gave him an opportunity to serve numerous nonprofit and Federal government agencies.
Mr. de Guzman has held management positions at KPMG, as a manager providing IT consulting to U.S. Housing and Urban Development, as a Senior Manager with BearingPoint providing solutions to HUD, NASA, and TSA, then as a Managing Director overseeing the NASA account.
